The popular screen face and one of Nollywood most sought after, Vida Modelo will be among African women to storm Marriott Kigali in Rwanda, for the African Women in Leadership Conference, holding on the 4th and 5th of April, 2019.

This colourful lady of the moment is not just going to the conference as an attendee but a major player in the strategic planning and management of the programme. She has been billed to host the Red Carpet where the crème de la crème among the women folk in Africa will be interviewed.

The theme of the Conference is “Empowered For Sustainability”, which is believed to be a platform to discuss the issues of women in terms of building capacity in their careers, managing family and work and of course managing crisis of fame in their own world and living up to their purpose in creation without feeling intimidated and oppressed by the male folk.

In a chat with Vida Modelo, she asserts that her slogan has always been to be the best she could possibly be in her own terms. She said originality is her thing, maintaining that she always looks out for opportunities to improve herself in order to better her profession and those things she believes in.
