The Delta state Chairman of the Nigerian People’s Congress (NPC), Comrade Gabriel Mamuzo who doubles as the leader of League of Political Party Chairmen in Delta State, has commended the Director-General of the Direct Labour Agency (DLA), Hon. Frank Enekorogha and members of his team in the three senatorial districts, for selfless service towards reviving the Agency which was at verge of collapse under the past administration.

Comrade Mamuzo made this commendation during an exclusive interview with journalists in Asaba, disclosing that the Agency under the past administration was heavily funded to be able to procure viable equipment to maintain bad drainage and grading of earth roads across the state, but alleged that immediate past DG and his directors terribly misappropriated these funds, adding that even its headquarters in Asaba was next to a deserted place.

Speaking further, Mamuzo expressed appreciation to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his proactive move towards reviving the Agency by appointing capable and reliable hands in the likes of Hon. Frank Enekorogha, Engr. Smart Meka – Director, Delta North, Engr. Blessing Enamator – Director, Delta central and Engr. Austin Bebetordor – Director, Delta South, adding that these persons, evidently have common understanding in piloting the affair of the Agency without rancor, stressing that this is the only leadership team of the Agency that has been crisis free.

Mamuzo who is advancing political parties to giving opportunity to aspirants who have the interests of the masses at heart, has also called on the likes of the aforementioned whom have done well in their areas of specialization to come out and contest for elective positions to enable them represent their people at all levels, stressing that their track records are proves that the interest of the common man is of importance to them and that they are capable enough to manage the affairs of the people.
