The Delta State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Hon. Okeh Idawene has said that SDP is just not the third force but the only force capable of giving Nigerians true federalism and proper restructuring.

Idawene stated this Friday May 11, 2018 at the party’s state headquarters in Asaba while welcoming new members to the party which he said was as a result of the ongoing “Operation Register New Members” adding that the driving force of the party is evident following the harvest of new members in the party recently.

The Chairman who doubles as the Chairman, Forum of SDP State Chairmen in the country, said, “10 immediate past PDP councilors from Bomadi Local Government Area have decamped to SDP today as led by Hon. Malude and more are coming” adding that the likes of Chief Monday Irabor, an APC Chieftain in Ika North-East Local Government Area, has also decamped to the Main Force.

Hon. Idawene further said that SDP is fully in support of the not too young to run bill and has integrated youths into its political system, stressing that SDP will continue to encourage and field in more youths at different levels alongside women to enable them pursue their political ambitions which was evident in the declaration of aspirants that was completely walloped by vibrant and efficient youths from all works of life aspiring for House of Assembly and House of Representatives elective positions in different parts of the state.

He further urged Deltans and Nigerians in extension to go and get their PVC , as it remains the only tool that can be used to vote in visionary leaders that they want.
