Hostilities Return as Nigeria Professional Football League Enters Match Day 13

Hostilities will return this Sunday the 31st March 2019 as the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL enters Match day 13.

In Group A relegation threatened Rivers United will travel to face fellow relegation battlers Remo Stars at the Gateway International Stadium in Shagamu.

Wikki Tourist will fight for 3points when they visit Bendel Insurance at the Uniben Sports Complex.

Niger Tornadoes will look to grab all 3points as they will host continental hunting Enugu Rangers.

Niger Tornadoes drew 2-2 with Lobi Stars away in a rescheduled match day fixture on Wednesday and will look to better their lot this time around.

Katsina United in a Northern derby will entertain Lobi Stars at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

Sunshine Stars will engage Kwara United while Chukwuka Onuwa will hope to upset the odd at the Agege Stadium with his new team Enyimba International as they visit MFM FC.

In group B Delta Force will begin life in the elite division after taken over Kadda City’s slot in the NPFL.

They will face troublesome Go Round FC who are 5th in the Group B standing at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

In another Northern derby for match day 13, bottom placed Yobe Desert Stars will face familiar foes Gombe United in a battle of the drop zone.

Abia Warriors who sit 2 places above the dead zone will welcome Lafia based Nasarawa United who are in 10th position.

Anambra Warriors FC Ifeanyi Ubah will host Plateau United at the FC Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium Nnewi Ozubulu as they hope to shake off that terrible defeat suffered in midweek against Kano Pillars.

In the other fixtures for Group B, Okigwe based Heartland host former NPFL champions Kano Pillars while El kanemi Warriors welcome table topping Akwa United.

All matches are expected to kick off by 4pm on Sunday 31st March 2019 at their various match centres.
